Hattha Kaksekar has been moving to a path to become a main player in microfinance industries regarding its current performance. It has a liaison with many of investors, especially foreign investors. For instance, HKL on December 14, 2011 signed an agreement on capital injection with responsAbility which is one of the worlds leading social investment companies. The signing ceremony was held in Phnom Penh at InterContinental Hotel. responsAbility, since then, becomes the new shareholder of HKL in addition to the existing shareholders.

The event was participated by bankers, MFI representatives, HKLs clients, management and staff of HKL and others.

Through this injection, Hattha Kaksekars registered capital will be increased to US$ 4 million with 8 shareholders such as: Oikocredit, HKNGO, HKSA, Norfund, ASN (Triple Jump), Dy Davuth, SIDI, and responsAbility.
